Check-in at Reykjavik Terminal

Duration: 15 Minutes

Arrive at the Reykjavik Terminal at Skógarhlíð 10 to 15 minutes before your departure. Have a printed or digital copy of your ticket/voucher ready. If you’ve booked a hotel pickup with a Minibus, be at your designated pickup location 30 minutes before departure and look for the Minibus.

Þingvellir National Park

Duration: Approx. 1 Hour

Your first stop is Þingvellir National Park, situated on the northern shores of Þingvallavatn, Iceland's largest lake. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is historically significant as the location of the world’s oldest existing parliament, established in 930 AD. Explore the park and enjoy views of the Almannagjá Canyon, a striking example of continental drift. You'll have time to walk through the park and use restroom facilities.

Geysir Geothermal Springs

Duration: Approx. 1 Hour

Next, visit the Geysir Geothermal Springs, famous for the active Strokkur geyser, which erupts water 30 meters (100 ft) into the air every few minutes. This area has been active for over millennia and features boiling mud pits and hot spring holes. The newly opened Geysir Center provides travelers with restroom facilities, refreshments, and lunch options.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Duration: Approx. 1 Hour

The tour concludes at Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland's most stunning attractions. Witness the Hvítá River cascade in three dramatic steps into a narrow canyon, creating a breathtaking roar. On clear days, you may glimpse the Langjökull glacier in the distance. Restroom facilities and food options are available here as well.

  • If you have any mobility concerns or special requests, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.

Important Information

  • Arrive at our Reykjavik Terminal (Skógarhlíð 10) at least 15 minutes before your departure. Have your voucher ready in digital or printed form.
  • For hotel pickups with a Minibus, be at your designated location 30 minutes before departure. Look for the Minibus, which will arrive within that time.
  • Travel in a spacious, comfortable coach accommodating approximately 40-65 passengers. The coach has free Wi-Fi and USB charging ports.
  • Lunch is not included; however, food and drinks can be purchased at Geysir and Gullfoss.
  • Dress appropriately for Iceland’s variable weather—warm, waterproof clothing is essential. Bring a waterproof jacket, pants, headwear, gloves, and sturdy outdoor shoes.
  • For the best fit, bring your own headphones for the in-Minibus audio guide; earphones can be purchased onboard if needed.
  • Bring your camera to capture the tour's stunning landscapes and unforgettable moments.

  • Discounts: Teenagers (ages 12-15) receive a 50% discount, and children (ages 0-11) are free.
  • There is no minimum participant requirement; no age restrictions apply.
  • The tour lasts approximately 7.5 hours, including a minimum 45-minute stop at Geysir Hot Springs, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park, covering 290 km.
  • An adult must accompany children under 12 years old.
  • The Golden Circle route may vary depending on road and weather conditions. Your guide will make adjustments to ensure your safety and comfort.
  • In the rare event of a road closure or other unforeseen circumstances, your tour may be canceled or rescheduled. In this case, you will be notified and given the option of a full refund or an alternative tour date.
